The festival takes place at the Kadampa Meditation Centre Italy. Set among the rolling hills of Tuscany, KMC Italy is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition –International Kadampa Buddhist Union, and it is the home of Kadampa Buddhism in Italy.
KMC Italy was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso to offer modern people the opportunity to receive teachings, engage in retreat, or just take a meaningful holiday in a truly beautiful environment. By serving people in this way, we hope to fulfil Geshe Kelsang’s vision for the flourishing of Kadampa Buddhism throughout the world, bringing inner peace, meaning and joy to the lives of all.
Over the weekend Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will grant the blessing empowerment of Green Tara – an enlightened being who is a manifestation of the purified wind element. He will also give teachings on the dearly loved and widely revered Buddhist text “Advice from Atisha’s Heart”. By practising this advice we can learn how to bring all our daily appearances into the spiritual path.
